Vice President of Student Life & Student Advocate

 Hey y’all,

My name is Isabella (Bella) Bullock. I am from Murrieta, California and am currently a fourth yeat here at UCSC. My major is Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, and I currently am a Certified Nursing Assistant off-campus and want to have a career in the medical field later on. I have been in this office for three years now, serving as the previous Campus-Wide Programs Coordinator and the VP of Student Life 2018-2019, 2020-2021. Beyond the Student Union Assembly, I also am and have been a part of a multitude of organizations. Under Stevenson, I have been a Student Committee on Committees (SCOC) Stevenson Representative and a Stevenson Student Council Casa 7 Representative. I have a passion for serving others and getting more of my fellow students involved on campus. I believe I can make an impact on students' experiences at UCSC through my role and hope that I can keep making a difference for the rest of my time here at UCSC.

Office Initiatives:

1. Create Student Advocate's Office
2. Combat Food Insecurity
3. Support Student Organizations

Since this will be my third year in office, I have plans to have more large scale events that focus on enhancing and advocating individuals’ experiences at UCSC. I also intend on having more events that bring awareness to mental health and food insecurity on campus. These include, but are not limited to, wellness weeks that focus on overall health, cooking classes, CalFresh Workshops, and Mental Health Workshops. In addition, my office is always looking to hire for these events and to help out with the food pantry. I am also looking forward to working with other organizations on campus to produce other events outside the office. I want to have more collaboration with other groups on campus and SUA. I am very excited to see all the amazing things this office is capable of this year and hope that I will see you at our next event.
