How to Apply

Thank you for expressing interest in applying for a student representative appointment to a campus-wide or academic senate committee.

TIME COMMITMENTS

Time commitments vary between committees. It can range from (1) hour per month to several hours a week. See the individual academic and administrative committees for more information.
Please note that academic senate committees also require attendance to Student Academic Senate at least once a month, alongside regular report backs to the body.

Each committee will have a listed number of available appointments or "N/A" for unavailable appointments. Some committees are comprised of one representative from each college. For these committees, you must be affiliated with the respective college listed.

HOW TO JOIN

1. Read and understand the description of the committee you are applying for: Administrative Committees, Academic Senate Committees
2. Fill out the online application.
3. Wait for a response via email from the Student Committee on Committees. It may take up to 2 (two) or 3 (three) weeks for a response. 

PLEASE NOTE: Committee appointments are determined solely based on the information you submit in your application. The selection committee may not consider any outside information.
