Queer Student Union (QSU) is a student-run organization aiming to build community and organize to tackle issues affecting our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Queer communities. We strive to be representative of and inclusive of the many Queer experiences and identities that contribute to the richness and vibrancy of our community.

We meet weekly in the Cantú Queer Center and also have events throughout the school year, both club-related and social. We host QSU socials throughout the year and campaigns that reach all UCSC students. Our weekly meetings are a gathering time for our community to grow and enjoy the company of friends and community members, as well as participate actively in their community. Our campaigns allow us to tackle the issues that affect our communities (i.e. access to all-gender bathrooms, access to LGBT housing on campus, outreaching to high school Gay-Straight Alliances, violence toward our community and within our community, and many more).

Come join us, meet fellow Queer Slugs, make new, lasting friendships, and take ownership of your identity. We hope to see you at one of our weekly meetings!
