Mission Statement: 
The organization shall be committed to the advancement of civil and human rights of the Chicanx/Latinx people. We shall strive for the educational, gender, cultural, sexual orientation, economical, political, racial and social equity within the Chicanx/Latinx community. We shall encourage community between all Chicanx/Latinx  students to promote political consciousness to the youth of our state to fight for the rights as Chicanx/Latinx. We shall encourage Chicanx/Latinx  students to attend an institution of higher education, by exposing the importance and the opportunities available in furthering their education. Provide an atmosphere that will promote the support of success of Chicanx/Latinx  students in higher education. We shall educate others and ourselves on the issues facing the Chicanx/Latinx  community. We shall support the struggle of other progressive movements on our campus and in our communities internationally.
