Hey y'all,

My name is Tatiana Guardado (she/her/hers), but please call me Tati! I am a first generation college student from the Bay Area. My dad’s side of my family is from Mexico (Durango and Zacatecas) and my mom’s side of the family is from Nicaragua (Diriamba and Managua). I am a third year Sociology and Latin American and Latinx Studies double major. My college affiliation is Oakes, I was involved in Oakes Senate during my first two years at UCSC. Last year I became involved with Hermanas Unidas, and this year I am the current secretary. My dream job is to be a lawyer, I love giving back to my community which ultimately is what I want to do in my future. I am really excited to serve as one of your Wellness Ambassadors for this school year!

Fun facts:

• One time I was running on a treadmill and then I fell and got back on it and fell again ;(
• I went backpacking through Wyoming for three weeks
• I used to take swimming lessons every summer as a kid but in all honestly I can barely swim lol
