As of April 2020, the Student Union Assembly has entered a partnership with the world-renowned news agency The New York Times.

After months of negotiations, the Office of the President has secured funding to provide unlimited digital subscriptions for all students attending the University of California, Santa Cruz.

The initial partnership is a year-long, however, we anticipate extending our contract in years to come depending on student usage and funding accessibility.  This partnership will greatly contribute to our efforts to stay connected to the digital world and to advance our university’s role as apart of an engaged student body.
