The Student Union Assembly (SUA) disclosed during their first meeting of the Spring quarter new legislation aimed at ensuring the continuance of student governance during the Spring quarter.
Aptly named, the SUA Continuity Action Plan (CAP) focuses on policies governing teleconference meetings, required office hours for SUA members, and how committees will be functioning during the Spring quarter. Primarily, the operations of the SUA will remain steady. SUA meetings will occur once a week every Tuesday evening. Additionally, each meeting will be publicly teleconferenced.
The SUA is expected to vote to adopt these policies during the Spring Week 2 meeting on April 7th, 2020.
