The Student Union Assembly (SUA) is pleased to announce the opportunity to participate in the 2nd Annual California Higher Education Food Summit (CHEFS). Students will have the opportunity to advance statewide food access, security, and equity efforts while Uniting Communities Through Food Justice
CHEFS will take place: January 22-24, 2016 at UC Irvine.
The 2nd Annual CHEFS is for students, staff and community members across the state convene to discuss and prioritize Food Justice issues impacting students on a individual, communal and institutional level. This year’s conference theme is “Uniting Communities through Food Justice: Awareness, Understanding, and Action.”
The Student Union Assembly will be covering conference fees, travel, lodging, and meal accommodations to selected students.
