Level 1 - Informational Level
- Attend SUA Meetings and Events to become more knowledgeable about campus
issues. Meetings are held every Tuesday at 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the Bay
Tree Conference Center (Cervantez and Velasquez - Room D).
- Get involved in Student Organizations and Volunteer efforts
- Contact us to find out about upcoming events, or to volunteer
Level 2 - Serve on a Committee
- Serve on a SUA or campus-wide advisory committee
- Committee representatives gain valuable experience and have input in campus decisions
- Committee reps. can earn credit or fee waivers
- Apply through the SCOC website
Level 3 - Become a College / Organization Rep.
- Represent your college or your organization in the SUA body meetings, and be involved in SUA decision-making
- Help plan college and organization events

Level 4 - Become an SUA intern
- There are a variety of positions available; for example, there are internships that work directly with an officer, a Business Manager position, Elections Commissioner, and others
- Interns are able to receive academic credit or pay.

Level 5 - Run for Office
- Every spring there are 6 officer positions elected campus wide
- Lots of personal time, energy, and commitment is required to maintain this organization
- Benefits include heavy involvement in school programming and policy, interaction with administrators and student activists state-wide, and travel opportunities around the country
- Officers are paid a monthly stipend, for a full-time position
